Sylvester Stallone quería usar la canción Another One Bites the Dust de Queen para que fuera el tema principal de la película, pero no pudo adquirir los derechos. Entonces pidió al grupo Survivor que compusieran una canción, Eye of the Tiger, especialmente para la película.
